Terms of Use

Last updated: October 13, 2026

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the Bridge platform, the website at bridgecampus.io, and any related services (together, the “Service”), operated by Bridge Technologies Ltd, a company incorporated in The Commonwealth of The Bahamas, with its principal office at Building 3, Bayside Executive Park, West Bay Street & Blake Road, P.O. Box N-4875, Nassau, Bahamas (“Bridge”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service Is

Bridge is a coordination platform for educational institutions. It allows students to ask questions anchored to the text of assignment briefs and related course documents, groups similar questions together, and enables course instructors to answer them for the benefit of the class. Bridge organizes communication; it does not generate answers to academic questions — all answers to student questions are provided by instructors or other authorized users.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

Accounts on the Service are created in connection with an educational institution that has arranged use of Bridge (your “Institution”). There is no public self-registration. You must be at least 16 years of age, or the age required by your Institution and applicable law, to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at privacy@bridgecampus.io if you believe your account has been compromised. We may suspend accounts to protect the security or integrity of the Service.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for legitimate educational purposes and in accordance with your Institution's academic and conduct policies. You must not: (a) post content that is unlawful, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, or deliberately misleading; (b) attempt to access another user's account or any part of the Service you are not authorized to access; (c) probe, scan, disrupt, overload, or otherwise interfere with the operation or security of the Service; (d) upload malicious code; (e) scrape, copy, or redistribute course materials or other users' content outside the Service without authorization; or (f) use the Service to violate academic integrity rules of your Institution. We may remove content and suspend or restrict accounts that breach this section.

4. Anonymity Between Students

The Service may allow you to post questions that are displayed without your name to other students. Anonymity applies between students only: your identity always remains visible to your instructors and to your Institution's authorized administrators. Anonymous posting does not exempt any content from these Terms or your Institution's policies.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the questions, comments, and other content you submit to the Service (“User Content”). You grant Bridge a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and process User Content solely to the extent necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service and to provide it to your Institution. Course materials, including assignment briefs uploaded to the Service, remain the property of the Institution or their respective rights holders and are used on the Service with the Institution's authorization. We do not sell User Content, and we do not use it for advertising.

6. Bridge's Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, features, text, and branding, is owned by Bridge Technologies Ltd or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended educational purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the Service except as permitted by law.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Our handling of personal data is described in the Bridge Privacy Notice, available at bridgecampus.io/privacy. Where the Service is provided through your Institution, the Institution acts as the data controller and Bridge acts as a processor on its behalf. Service data is hosted within the European Union. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact privacy@bridgecampus.io.

8. Academic Role of the Service

The Service is a communication and coordination tool. Answers, feedback, and academic decisions are made by your instructors and your Institution, not by Bridge. Bridge is not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of content posted by users, including answers provided by instructors, and nothing on the Service constitutes advice from Bridge.

9. Availability and Changes to the Service

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but it is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and the Service may be modified, updated, or temporarily suspended for maintenance, security, or improvement. Where a feature matters to scheduled academic activity, we will use reasonable efforts to give your Institution advance notice of planned disruptive maintenance.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: (a) Bridge disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement; (b) Bridge shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, grades, academic standing, profits, or goodwill, arising from use of or inability to use the Service; and (c) Bridge's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of the amounts paid to Bridge for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim or one hundred euros (€100). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects statutory rights you hold as a consumer under mandatory applicable law.

11. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. Your access may end when your Institution's arrangement with Bridge ends, when you leave your Institution, or when your Institution requests removal of your account. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, for security reasons, or where required by law. Sections 5–10 and 12–14 survive termination to the extent applicable.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the Service or legal requirements. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice through the Service or by other appropriate means before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except that users who are consumers in the European Union retain the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.
